Dear Bad Bitch,

Everything is an exchange of energy.

The energy you put out is the energy you will receive back.

When you believe you are valuable and exude that energy - from the way you talk, to the way you walk - everyone else follows suit.

When I first started out coaching, I asked a male coach who had similar credentials how much he was charging his clients, I was shocked to discover that he was charging nearly triple what I had ever considered.

When I asked him how he came up with that price, he simply said,

“I’m confident in my ability to help my clients succeed, and I only want to work with the people who see my value and are willing to invest in themselves.”

He effectively made up his own price based off how much he believed his services were worth, and went into his sales calls with a take it or leave it energy.

BAD BITCH TIP: Your services are worth however much you believe they are worth.

There will always be people who think you charge too much.

But that just means they can’t afford you.

Ask yourself:

  • Have you done the work to become the best at your craft?

  • Do you believe that you can create true impact for your clients?

  • Are you willing to do whatever it takes to help your clients succeed?

If the answer is “Yes” to all of the above, then you have the ability to charge a premium for your services.

If you want to see how your prices compare to others in your industry, simply ask them.

See how much the men are charging, see how much the women are charging, then compare that to how much you are charging. This is called benchmarking.

If you’re coming in lower than others, ask yourself “Why?”

  • Are you not comfortable charging more?

  • Are you targeting the wrong clients?

  • Or were you simply unaware that you could charge more?

You must be confident on what value you offer, who you add value to, and how much your target customer is willing to pay for it.

Some people wont be able to afford you. That’s okay. You have to be willing to let them go.

There are more than enough clients, problems, and solutions to go around, but you must always remember that your time is valuable. It is only when you embrace your own worth, and feel confident exuding that value, that clients will pay a fee that is reflective of your worth.

Remember, everything is an exchange of energy.

The people who see your value will find a way to afford you.

Go towards those people.
